2021-22 College Basketball Thread

Welcome to day 1 of the krzyzewski beatification tour
Gonna be interesting to see how that goes.
I don't think the ACC will be particularly great. Duke's seemingly impossible without an outright regular-season league title, a stretch during which they've won two NCAA crowns, may end.

The Alabama basketball shuttle bus is stuck in traffic, so that's a hopeful sign.

The Citadel leads Pitt by 11 with 11:32 left.
Miami OH is tied with Ga Tech at the half.
Miami struggling with the Golden Griffins of Canisius; up 6 with 17:00 left.
Bucknell leading the perpetually disrespected victims of conspiracy from Raleigh late in the first.

Georgia Tech got off to a God-awful start in non-conference last year, including a loss to Mercer.

Speaking of which, the mighty Bears are up 10 at Arkansas.

Kansas is missing their best player
Sparty looks like a second division B1G team

A couple of years ago, it looked like Pitt might be on the verge of a turnaround. Wow. Getting dominated by The Citadel.

If Duke and Kentucky could knock each other out like Rocky and Apollo, that would be swell.

Oregon women beating Idaho State 42-9 with 9 or 10 minutes to play.

Navy easily scrubs the decks with Virginia, which manages one field goal in the final nine minutes.
Midshipmen played and won easily without two starters.
Could be Duke and Carolina and nobody else again. It was kind of enjoyable to see a third wheel that actually became the first wheel if measured over the entirety of the eight-year span from 2013-14 through 2020-21. Nobody other than Duke or UNC has ever been as successful over an eight-year time frame as Virginia was in league play. (Caveat is that we're talking about spans of exactly eight years. When you open it up to 10-year runs, you get NC State's two titles in 1974 and 1983,)
That chapter can be closed.

Watched Duke handle Kentucky. It's just about over. Duke has a chance this season with Keels and Banchero, both freshmen.
