2024-25 College Basketball Thread

More than ever at this moment in the economy, if they want to give you a bigger bag go take it.

While Wisconsin!?! is averaging 81 points per game.

Tonje / Blackwell >>> Storr / Hepburn
Which leads nicely into our next fraud alert. Illinois needs an end of game miracle or it is going to drop to 17-10 (9-7) with Duke at MSG this weekend. Iowa is next in a get-right spot but then they end the regular season away to Michigan and home to Purdue.

No point guard. For starters.
The point guard was no small reason they won it all three years ago. It's not Harris that's the problem. He talked last weekend about how more of his teammates need to care about the name on the front of the jersey as opposed to the back.

Self has always been a top-4 seed in the NCAA tournament at KU. Not this year. Roster construction is bad, but the players don't seem to want to play hard, or for each other. It's stunning to see that.

Figures that the year Mizzou beats KU is the year the Chickenhawks crap the bed and ding the Tigers' SoS.

The game included an ad for an upcoming broadcast: Stanford gymnastics at Clemson. I had no idea Clemson had a gymnastics team. So Stanford is coming across the country and to a remote location for a one-off meet in the regular season? Crazy.
