2024-25 College Basketball Thread

The game included an ad for an upcoming broadcast: Stanford gymnastics at Clemson. I had no idea Clemson had a gymnastics team. So Stanford is coming across the country and to a remote location for a one-off meet in the regular season? Crazy.

It's a Sunday afternoon meet, so Stanford could pull it off with its student-athletes missing any clash. It's still a cross-country trip for a one-off, however.

They're most likely taking all of their clashes online during the season so it won't matter academically. But it's just another illustration of how stupid having the Bay Area schools in the ACC is.

I've got six or seven athletes in my clashes this semester, and they're all in-season. It's a pain in the ash with how many times they're going to miss because of travel, especially the baseball guys. But overall, athletes have been some of the better students in my clashes over the years. There was one semester I had three football guys in one clash, and they were all jackashes. One of them had no business being in college. He was not prepared academically at all, and my clash is not the most difficult.

110 points!
3rd top 5 win
Gotta be a 4 seed at this rate

MIZ!

Considering Kansas was their No. 15 seed last week, I think that's easily the starting point. With the other losses I can see them being the final three seed
