Do you mean that literally? Ie the first game of this theoretical season is vs. Georgia?
I don't think anybody would take that deal.
Now if you mean the team is 7-0 having played seven bad teams, I think there might be a few takers but very few.

What happens to Napier if the Gators start 7-0 — and move into the top 5 as a result — but lose four straight? Does he survive or get whacked?

Nebraska would do it if they were guaranteed a 7-0 start. The Huskers really want to go back to a bowl game, no matter how insignificant.

It has some disadvantages. But two months of practice/scrimmage, and an almost guaranteed healthy roster could loom large.

Challenge for any Big Ten or Big 12 team. You can start the year 7-0 without having to play a game. But you have to end the schedule with Florida's November schedule.

No. 1 Georgia
No. 4 Texas
No. 13 LSU
No. 6 Ole Miss
No. 10 Florida State

Any takers?

And then they go out and win 4 of their last 6, and four in a row to end the season at a very respectable 8-5. I don't follow Gator football at all but maybe having patience with Napier was a good thing?

It was almost more inertia than patience (the same reason Todd Golden's key card still works). But yes, the vibes around Gainesville are better and recruiting looks promising too. Next year should be the acid test, as the desert is lined with the bleached bones of coaches who got eight wins in a dead cat bounce season then collapsed for good.
