2024 NBA playoffs thread

Isn't Luka hurt? Not that he's Gary Payton out there anyway, but still. I think it's fair to get on him for losing control and arguing with the refs so much, though.

Shams is now taking victory laps in the neverending war with Woj because now Redick is again apparently the guy the Lakers want. But it's outright bizarre Shams is somehow gloating over this. Ethan Strauss had a good piece outlining the strangeness of the Woj-Hurley-Lakers stuff, but the fact remains the Lakers did in fact offer Hurley a huge contract! He was their guy! Woj being buddies with the Hurley family, Hurley using the Lakers, the Lakers being incompetent, all of it is beside the point. Woj isn't the one who drew up the offer for Hurley. That was the Lakers. And Shams found out about it along with the rest of the world when Woj tweeted about it. He completely whiffed on the biggest storyline with the coaching search. Yet he's now smirking along with McAfee about, see, Lakers wanted Redick all along. What?! The insider wars confuse me.

And, also, before they claim their 18th title, I'd like to get it on the record: fork Boston.

Don't the Finals have to go at least six games for the network carrying them to break even? I seem to remember hearing Skipper say that.
