10 SEC teams in the top 15 softball rankings. Six out of the top 10 in baseball.

Crappy football is bringing down the conference.

Meanwhile, sad news out of Hawaii. Long time radio voice of the Rainbows Don Robbs has died. Aired more than 2,000 games to the islands, including one he had to do from the patio of a dorm room overlooking the field at San Francisco.

With it's regular stadium undergoing an upgrade, Stanford will play home games at Stanford Stadium this season. They peeled off some of the grash in the football stadium for an infield.

Plenty of seating for those big series against Virginia, Clemson and Syracuse.

Mrs. Micro and I are headed to Arizona next week for the opening weekend of the college season. Four games at Surprise Stadium, a real jewel. Always a treat to escape the mid-winter PNW gloom.

The mother of Auburn's Cade Belyeu died Friday morning, after a battle with cancer. He played Friday night and hit a home run.
