Forgive me if I'm treading old (third quarter) ground, but Newton was just awful as it relates to his NFL prospects. The interception was nowhere close to where he was intending, he missed two of the easiest touchdown throws he will ever see, and he was wild on the short stuff all night. He can run the draw OK on third down, I suppose, but that puts him about where Tebow was.
