Shotty, I agree with your general ashessment of the intent, but that's a weak argument. It's not like people need to supply credentials before they can speak -- positively or negatively.

He understands that some people will like his work and some won't. It's part of the deal. Why get drawn into an argument?

Clearly, he's thankful to those who do enjoy his stuff. He's shown that. And, if he's not going to be bothered by those who don't, why should anyone else?

Seconded. And I, to echo others, hope jgmacg rethinks his position on coming to this board, though his sentiment is entirely understandable.

Idiots, while they've done nothing to warrant suspension or banishment, are just here ripping someone else for no concrete reasons whatsoever. It's sickening and those people are taking away from this site. Understand that I don't feel that I bring all sorts of substancial food for thought, but I try not to discredit others for funsies.

Again, jgmacg, I can only hope you'll reconsider. And to those others who are just trying to break a piece of writing down, with little to no rhyme or reason, please feel free to follow what jgmacg says he might do because you certainly won't be missed.
