It's better than Old School...

Very, very funny movie, but it is no Old School.

Old School is ok, nothing more. Superbad, Wedding Crashers and Anchorman were far more enjoyable. Road Trip is below those three, but ahead of Old School.

I like all of the movies you mentioned here. I love one or two of them. Old School is the best of the bunch. And, to me, it really isn't that close.

EDIT: Whoa. Just noticed you said Road Trip is better than Old School? Road Trip? Now I KNOW you're on crack ;)

Ferrill's character in Old School is like the one in Talladega Nights, Step Brothers, that figure skating movie. He'll run around semi-naked, yell and scream, make a few deck jokes. Who forking cares?

What do you want him to do, Shakespeare?

Funny is funny. So, yeah, I care.

I feel the same about Anchorman as others here do ... funnier on repeat viewings. Probably my favorite comedy Farrell has done.

Not my favorite Farrell movie though ... that belongs to Stranger Than Fiction. Incredible performance by someone you wouldn't think could do drama.

I drove by a Mercedes like the one in the movie (different color) today and laughed for a good 30 seconds.

I loved The Hangover. I might have actually rolled on the floor if I'd never seen a trailer and didn't know going in about the tiger, the tooth, the baby, Tyson, etc.
My favorite recurring bit was Ed Helms' telephone descriptions of his "trip to the Napa Valley" for the girlfriend.
The only loose end not tied up: What did Jeffrey Tambor do when he saw his poor Mercedes? Granted, they have enough money (in chips) to fix or replace it, but still ...

I kinda ashumed the line about, 'what happens in vegas..' during the wedding summed it up.

great movie, has to be put to the top of the list for great comedies.

"This isn't Doug, he black, our Doug is white"

the rain man scenes were too funny

Loved how they tied Rain Man back into it, completing it with "Iko-Iko"

Hangover made $43 million this weekend, more than twice than the monster-budget Land of the Lost...

Since no one in this movie is a big star (yet), I'm guessing there will be a Hangover 2 within the next 24 months.

Saw it last night. My wife loved it more than anything ever.

I liked it a lot, about as much as Superbad. Not as much as Forgetting Sarah Marshall or Zack and Miri....just one man's opinion.

Having said that, I can't wait until it comes out on DVD.
