The harshest takedown of a pop music star that's also the safest possible critique ever

We've found common ground. Popeye's is heaven.

I've never had Popeye's. I must try it.

They sponsored I think Cale Yarborough's car when he was an owner, back in my time in the NASCAR world.

Back to food shows, is Katie Lee on every episode of Beat Bobby?

EDIT: It was Bojangles, not Popeye's. Bojangles any good?

The problem with Beat Bobby Flay is. ... name any signature food. The people doing the final judging are going to end up with a traditional version of something vs. a version made with crawfish, tomatillos, ancho chiles with a citrus-infused cocktail on the side. Why do they even bother making it a blind tasting?

This isn't my joke, I believe the EDSBS fellows said it, but it's true nonetheless: don't count on the number of pieces of chicken you ordered at Popeye's to be the number you actually get. You might get one fewer. You might get one extra. You might get six extra tenders mixed in there. You might get a deep-fried Michael Jordan rookie card included in your five-piece. Just accept what Popeye's is and it is damn good chicken. Do not count on accuracy. Live in the moment.

Yeah, the blind tasting is a farce.

Bojangles is awesome as well. Of course, in the later stages of his driving career and his early years as an owner, he was sponsored by Hardee's.

This thread proves to me the only thing we have left as a society we can talk about civilly is feeding our fat faces and watching people feed their fat faces on TV. Even sports are too divisive now. God bless food.

What's been divisive on this thread? Nothing's personal. Twitter it is what it is - but it is that, as it relates to the media.

Remember when as an owner he had Fingerhut as the sponsor and Jeremy Mayfield was his driver?

I thought for a bit Mayfield was going places. CY wasn't a great owner by any stretch, but I thought Mayfield had talent.

Welcome, Scott!

How do you get your hair to do the voodoo that it do so well?

God, what I'd give to have a thick head of hair like that again. I'm thinning and it's turning gray at the temples. I'M 34! 34! I'm aging in Obama presidential years.
