What Is Your "Eternal" Walk-off song?

My lovely wife would think, "The '59 Sound" by The Gaslight Anthem is weird. It probably is.

But I think I'd like "The '59 Sound".

And I think my daughter's Grandmama (RIP 16 years now) would've played it on her radio.

Not weird at all. A slow acoustic version by Fallon would be perfect.

Tangent: I work on an ashembly line 10 hours a day, so I do weird things, like time which albums make me work the fastest. The '59 Sound is one of the best I own for that. I'm like a table per hour faster listening to that album than, say, a Dawes album.

I'm not really a soccer fan and don't remember how I found this, but You'll Never Walk Alone really stuck with me the first time I heard it. If there is one song to walk off to, this is it for me.

It's really a walk-on song!

BTW, I love GATP. "Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying" plays a huge role in a lifetime memory for me.

I know the song I want everyone drinking to at the bar after my funeral, too. My son will be in charge of that.

When I was 14, I did my first paid theater job. The show was Carousel, You'll Never Walk Alone is the finale, and I had to fight back tears every night.

I've instructed my friends to have me carried out to the Wabash Cannonball.
