Worst Night Before Super Sunday...

Every time I've gone through a checkpoint and asked if I've been drinking, I simply say not a drop, I've been working all night. Which 99% of the time is dead-on accurate.

Reid appears to have substance issues in his family - maybe he should find something else to do. That would be my thought as a father if one son overdosed and the other did this.

Patrick Hruby has been discussing nepotism in NFL coaching this week.

Does Britt Reid, with his criminal history, get a similar job with any other organization other than the Chiefs? I have no doubt that Andy Reid is a loving father and full of good intentions, but the optics are terrible.

Don't know when exactly that's from or what the rules of the era were, but No. 9 should have been called for a false start, illegal shift, or both.
It also might have been a forward lateral.
The lateral looked OK, but No. 9 clearly moved before the snap.

The last of the Vikings' Super Bowl turds was 44 years ago. But they were utterly non competitive in all four games. The games were complete bores.
The Vikings were never shamed enough for what they did to the 70s Super Bowls.

Ever been to Minnesota?

A sense of it will all end up fubar is ingrained in us.

We wear the shame with a sense of pride, we have broad shoulders.

The lateral looked OK, but No. 9 clearly moved before the snap.

He was also moving at the snap while No. 10 was still in motion, which should have been an illegal shift.

The lateral was pretty close. He led him with it, so it was flipped at the 22 or so and the ball looked to be around the 21 by the time he gained control of it. One of those plays that certainly would have been reviewed and possibly overturned in 2021, but is understandable if they let it slide in 1940.

How 'bout taking care of a dog with explosive diarrhea and it's 11 below zero out and dropping.

fun fact: to give a dog an iv when they are dehydrated, they inject the fluid between their shoulders.

makes them look like they have half a football between their shoulders.

do dogs have shoulders? is that a thing you call them?
