Worst Night Before Super Sunday...

Slice it the wide way. Sauté some pineapple rings on a griddle on the stove top; remove them from the heat and cook the Spam on the same griddle and brush some teriyaki sauce on the Spam while you're cooking it. Serve on burger buns with spring mix; side with macaroni salad.

Aloha, bruddah.

In Kanadia it's Klik.

True.

Back to Spam..

It's made in Minnesota and there is a Spam Museum. Wonderful attraction, everyone should visit once. Just like Rushmore. I purchased and use Spam pens from the gift shop.

Spam played a vital role in WWII, something which resonates to this day in some parts of this country of ours. No, not MN. What other processed meat product can say that?

The correct way to pronounce Hormel is with 'muhl' at the end. Locals will appreciate that when you come to visit the museum and will give you Spam street cred.

Here ends your Spam lesson for the day.

fun fact: to give a dog an iv when they are dehydrated, they inject the fluid between their shoulders.

makes them look like they have half a football between their shoulders.

do dogs have shoulders? is that a thing you call them?

Cats are the same way. About 10 years ago, one of my cats, who was 16 years old at the time, was having kidney problems. The vet said I could either have him put down, or hydrate him every day with an IV and hope he improved.

So every day, I'd have to catch him, hold him down, have the IV bag in a certain spot, inject him between his shoulders, and hold him down long enough for him to get hydrated.

He did get better for a couple of months, then went down very quickly and we finally did have take him to the vet to be put to sleep. Still, I'm glad we got a couple of more months with him.

Also, if you're going to hold your pet while the vet puts him down, I recommend bringing a towel to put on your lap. My guy emptied his bladder before his trip to Rainbow Bridge.
