NFL Wild Card Weekend -- Nazareth, live from Philadelphia

It's like Houston is BYU. Never on Sunday.
I get it though. They played on Saturday, KC had the bye - you don't want to short the other teams a day of recovery. Same reason Minn-LA winner plays on Sunday regardless of the opponent. They scheduled two AFC games for Saturday, because Det-Minnesota played Sunday night last week, didn't want to screw over the loser.

Both No. 1 seeds are playing on Saturday, which I ashume is for the slight competitive advantage of an extra day if they win.

I believe the No. 1 seeds get somewhat a priority of scheduling, right?

I think the Bills-Ravens were always going to be locked into the late Sunday slot because it's got to be the top game in terms of interest and competitiveness.

Beyond that, it had to be Rams/Vikings at Philly for Sunday, because they weren't going to make teams play Monday-Saturday in the playoffs.

Bills-Ravens should be epic. Vikings-Eagles pretty good. The other two? Meh.

I wonder if the Ravens are just a bad matchup for the Bills. They kicked the crap out of them the first time around and Baltimore's defense is playing much better now.

The Bills need to cut Allen loose early rather than trying to run into the strength of the Ravens' defense.

Yes the Monday night playoff game does throw a wrench into the priority thing.

I took PTO today because I knew I'd be worthless after that game last night. Can't do the same next Monday, so I'm happy that the game is on Saturday. Just playing with house money at this point. This season has been so forking fun.

I'm letting it ride on Playoff Lamar rearing its ugly head until the Ravens get to a Super Bowl.

I thought that kicker was gonna miss when they had the long shot of him touching his head and halfway putting his helmet on 3-4 times. That looked like a lot of nerves or a tic.
The way he kept playing with his hair reminded me of a rodeo bull rider who keeps trying to set the tail of his bull rope just so … and then gets bucked off in 2.2 seconds.
