2024 NBA playoffs thread

Imagine being a Bucks fan watching Holiday's offense this postseason.

Bucks fans know what they lost in Jrue. He makes everyone else better. Rightfully noted for his defense, he was also dangerous offensively when needed.

I hate the Celtics, but super happy for Jrue if they close the deal.

At first, Hurley seemed like a guy to give the Lakers/LeBron cover when they hired Reddick. "Well, we tried..." but turning down $10m a year for half that in Storrs?

I've said on here before that this Game 6 intro is my all-time favorite. Great music, great words from Brent--"The stars are ready"--leading to greatest win in Lakers history.

I've been watching a lot of old CBS and NBC intros and found absolutely, positively, the most bizarre one. I can't imagine anything competing with it.

Game 4 of 1986 Finals. Starts off normally with the classic CBS music and graphics and Brent setting the stage as Houston is coming off a big win in Game 3 against the Celtics. Then it transitions to shots of Houston and...Musburger talking about Houston being a boom town that's gone bust. Talks about the unemployment rate. Real estate tanking. There's a shot of a strip club sign. But folks are happy because they get to go to the Finals!

I did not realize there was a point when Philly passed Houston back up to fourth place in the population rankings. Now H-town is breathing down Chicago's neck for third.

Hurley wouldn't have turned down a chance to coach Jordan.
